Live Weather & Radar - Alerts is a free lifestyle app that provides you with hourly local weather forecasts. You can use it to check the current temperature, humidity, visibility, UV index, air quality, and precipitation level. This app even lets you know the time of the sunrise, sunset, moonrise, and moonset.
It also makes it enjoyable to check its information with its cool animated graphics. Live Weather & Radar - Alerts' animations coincide with the weather in your location. That means you will see a bright sun if it's sunny, a moving cloud if it's overcast, rain if it's raining, and so on.
Convenient weather tools
Live Weather & Radar - Alerts provide basic weather information within your set location. Aside from those, this app also delivers 24- and 72-hour forecasts to keep you updated for days. It even delivers daily weather predictions for up to 14 days. These forecasts show information on expected wind speeds, temperature, and precipitation levels. The app also shows daily forecasts for air quality.
Note that it needs to access your location data to provide an accurate weather forecast. You can choose to either grant automatic permission for the tool to get your location or manually enter your area. It enables you to add up to nine cities and check each of them in the Manage City section in the side menu bar or by swiping your screen to the right or left.
Moreover, it has a radar map where you can pin any location and the app will show a text bubble that provides a quick rain forecast. You can change the layers of this map to show other details such as severe weather advisories, pollen forecasts, sea level pressure, and fire information. There's a bit of a loading time when you move in the map or zoom in and out of it.
